Terms of Service

These terms explain use of the SoDog landing page and the proposed terms for future membership in SoDog — Next-Gen Companion Platform / Ecosystem.

1. Platform and scope

SoDog is a companion platform and ecosystem bringing together stories, interactive experiences, and planned AI voice and companion features. These terms concern that platform and its landing page; they do not describe a separate mobile application purchase.

The current site presents information and story previews. Paid companion access is a future offering, conditional on launch readiness and underwriting approval. Descriptions of future membership below are provided so you can understand the intended service, not as a confirmation that access can be purchased today.

A checkout preview, when available, is a demonstration only. Entering a name or email in it does not register you, submit an order, create an account, or authorize a charge. Do not enter payment credentials or a password. See the Privacy Policy for how the preview differs from contacting support.

2. Plans, periods, and future payment

The planned membership options are priced in U.S. dollars (USD). Each includes Full AI voice & companion access.

Monthly — $19.99/mo
USD $19.99 for a one-month membership period.
6 Months — $99/6 mo ($16.50/mo)
USD $99 for a six-month membership period. The monthly equivalent is a price comparison, not a separate monthly installment option.
Annual — $179/yr ($14.92/mo)
USD $179 for a one-year membership period. The monthly equivalent is rounded for comparison, not a separate monthly installment option.

Before any future purchase, the checkout must present the selected plan, period, total payable amount, any applicable taxes, access instructions, and the terms requiring your confirmation. No payment is authorized by browsing this page.

Renewal details will be presented before a future purchase. These draft terms do not establish automatic renewal or any current subscription. Any future recurring payment arrangement, its timing, and how to stop it must be disclosed before you agree to pay. Plan changes or a different price must not be inferred from this pre-launch page.

3. Digital access, cancellation, and refunds

Once paid membership becomes available, the intended delivery is immediate digital access upon successful payment for the selected membership period. There is no physical shipping. A preview, unsuccessful payment, or pending payment does not activate membership. See the Delivery Policy for access assistance.

Subscriptions carry a 14-day money-back guarantee. Request a refund through support within 14 days after your subscription payment. The Refund Policy explains what to include, how requests are handled, and the distinction between a refund and cancellation.

If a future subscription has a next payment scheduled under terms you accepted, contact support before that payment to request cancellation. Selecting a plan or closing the current preview is not a purchase and does not require cancellation.

4. AI features and their limitations

Planned AI voice and companion features are intended for conversation, creativity, and supportive learning. AI can misunderstand context, produce inaccurate or unsuitable responses, and respond inconsistently. It does not have human judgment or feelings, and its output should not be treated as a verified fact or a promise of a particular result.

SoDog is not a substitute for a qualified medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional. It is not an emergency service and must not be relied on to detect or respond to a crisis. For urgent danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service or a trusted person who can help.

Use independent judgment and check important information. Parents and caregivers should assess whether an experience is appropriate for the person using it and supervise as needed. Do not share sensitive personal information in demonstrations or send it to support unnecessarily. Requirements for future paid access and any family-use controls will be explained before launch.

5. Responsible use and prohibited abuse

Use the site lawfully and respect other people, their privacy, and their intellectual property. You must not:

  • Use the service for fraud, unlawful activity, threats, harassment, exploitation, or content that promotes harm to others.
  • Impersonate another person, misuse someone else's information, or share private information without appropriate permission.
  • Introduce malicious code, interfere with the site, overload its infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Bypass access restrictions or safety measures, or use automated methods to extract content in a way that violates rights or disrupts the service.
  • Copy, distribute, or commercially exploit protected SoDog or third-party materials without permission or another lawful basis.

Report suspected abuse or a security concern to support with a brief description. Do not include passwords, payment credentials, or another person's confidential information. Access may be restricted where reasonably needed to address abuse or security risks; any future paid-service action remains subject to the terms presented at purchase and applicable consumer rights.

6. Content, privacy, and third-party services

Stories, artwork, branding, and other materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. Viewing a preview does not transfer ownership or grant permission to republish it. Uses permitted by applicable law are not restricted by this statement.

The landing page uses Google Fonts and can open a FlipHTML5 book reader. Third-party content and services are operated separately and may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Opening a book reader is not a membership purchase or a guarantee of the future companion service.

The Privacy Policy explains the current landing page, local-only checkout preview, technical request data, and separate support communications. Future AI data handling and checkout practices must be disclosed before those features are enabled.

7. Availability, updates, and your rights

Pre-launch features and descriptions may change as the service is prepared. There is no promised launch date, uninterrupted availability, or guaranteed AI outcome. We will provide the applicable service and purchase terms before paid access is offered, rather than treating use of this informational page as agreement to future charges.

If a future paid service has an access problem or does not match the confirmed purchase, contact support so the issue can be addressed under the applicable purchase terms and refund policy. Nothing in these draft terms is intended to exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Questions or complaints can be raised directly with the operator below. These terms do not create a mandatory arbitration agreement or require you to waive statutory consumer protections.
